Localization Checker Privacy
Updated November 5, 2026. This page explains how this website and the Localization Checker plugin handle data. Both are made by Fastzhuzhu.
The website
- The website uses no cookies, visitor analytics scripts, tracking scripts, or forms.
- Cloudflare hosts the site and receives your IP address and request information when serving a page. Its handling of that information is covered by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- We view aggregate request counts in Cloudflare, rather than individual visitor profiles. These hosting metrics are separate from visitor analytics or tracking scripts on the website.
The plugin
- The plugin itself runs inside the Unity editor. It makes no network connections and sends no data to us or anyone else.
- Clicking the website link in its About window opens this website in your browser and makes a normal website request as described above. The plugin does not open the site automatically.
- Plugin settings remain on your machine, in the project’s ProjectSettings folder and the editor’s preferences.
- If you email support@localizationchecker.com, we keep the correspondence to respond and follow up. We do not add you to a mailing list or share your address for other purposes.
- Cloudflare Email Routing forwards messages sent to that address to our support mailbox. Cloudflare processes the messages as part of providing that service, under its privacy policy.
Purchases
- Purchases are handled by the Unity Asset Store, the Tuanjie store or itch.io under the store’s own policies. We do not receive your payment details. We may use an order record, such as an invoice number, to verify a purchase when you contact support.
